Hi, I’m Tess

I’m a British-Dutch designer based in Utrecht, the Netherlands. In 2023, I graduated from HKU University of the Arts, where I studied illustration.

I see myself as a versatile, curious artist. I make illustrations with various media such as linocut, watercolours and the adobe creative suite. Besides that, I’ve done graphic design related projects, such as logo’s and a book lay-out. My work often includes fresh colours, a minimalist approach, and an open, friendly atmosphere.

My biggest inspirations are animals, nature and psychology. I try to capture a sense of quietness and calm in my illustrations, while remaining grounded.
